Sunday! Though i don't hear any birds' chirping sound or soft breeze blowing my face, still i am feeling the serene
Sunday~~~ La la la la la......

My morning start with.. hmm a whole lot of ra
in! And it rain from morning till night. My happy feet are cold whole day long. *A good reason for me to not walk or do much task today, aite*

So i listened to my playlist on Notebook~ OST from Juno, 500 Days of Summer, The Postal Service, Mocca, Vampire Weekend & Zee Avi). Gr
ab a book and jump on my cozy bed for a blissfull heavenly Sunday afternoon. *Yeay*
Just wanna share you about the book i read, The Wednesday Letters:

::The surprise "New York Times" bestseller, from an author who delivers an American storytelling at its best. The story of marriage, family, and forgiveness that has become not just a bestseller but an instant classic. Their story begins with one letter on their wedding night, a letter from the groom, promising to write his bride every weekafor as long they both shall live. Thirty-nine years later, Jack and Laurel Cooper die in each others arms. And when their grown children return to the family B&B to arrange the funeral, they discover thousands of letters. The letters they read tell of surprising jo
ys and sorrows. They also hint at a shocking family secret and ultimately force the children to confront a life-changing moment of truth.::

and despite the fact that i've already read this book few times before, it never fail to makes me teary eyed. After all, this is a perfect chills at home Sunday. Rainy day, warm and cozy bed and a heart-wrenching novel to cling to. Now, how i wish
i can have a cup of hot black coffee.. the one and only my paternal grandparents always brew.

    Soul-full Song~

    Saturday, January 29, 2011

Songs with soul so deep that you can't stop listening to them. That is my conclusion for Ray Lamontagne's songs....
Who Ray? -- An American singer
song-writer. Wikipedia him :) A shy bearded part time carpenter.

Here is one of the song, that i wish someone special will sing to me :P Just love the song and Ray's voice... heavenly husky and melodious.

Ray Lamontagne: Hold You In My Arms lyrics

When you came to me with your bad dreams and your fears
It was easy to see you'd been crying
Seems like everywhere you turn catastrophe it reigns
But who really profits from the dying

I could hold you in my arms
    I could hold you forever
I could hold you in my arms
    I could hold you forever

When you kissed my lips with my mouth so full of questions
My worried mind that you quiet

Place your hands on my face
    Close my eyes and say
That love is a poor man's food
    Don't prophesize
I could hold you in my arms
    I could hold you forever
And I could hold you in my arms

    I could hold you forever

So now we see how it is
    This fist begets the spear
    Weapons of war
    Symptoms of madness
Don't let your eyes refuse to see
Don't let your ears refuse to hear

Or you ain't never going to shake this sense of sadness

I could hold you in my arms
    I could hold on forever
And I could hold you in my arms

    I could hold on forever

    p/s:
There's a lot of things that can kill a man. There's a lot of ways to die. Yes and some already dead who walk beside you. There's a lot of things I don't understand. Why so many people lie. Well it's the hurt you hide that fuels the fires inside you

    yesterday's post

this was supposed to be yesterday's post. But my broadband line is so effing suck all the time especially last nite. So here, a delayed entry from me miss fickle.

Last night as i watched American Idol season 10, i am waiting for one particular participant -->
Chris Medina <-- What is so special about him? I read in the Yahoo a review about the show (which aired earlier on US tv and Astro) because i need to know what i am getting when i watch it at 8TV on Friday night. And there in the review, there was a guy with a moving love story to tell the world. The audition tape was so touching.

To cut the story short, this guy's fiancee got in an accident just 2 months before their wedding! The accident caused serious brain damage, and her life now depend on her fiancee and her mom. This is the most memorable words coming out from Chris Medina: ''
“What kind of guy would I be if I walked out when she needs me the most”

    Check out the audition here.

warning: Keep a box of tissue by your side as you watch the video.

simple things that made my day

    Thursday, January 27, 2011
Sometimes, simple things or gesture can make u smile whole day long. True? Believe me :)

As i sat at my not so comfy plastic chair, staring at my lappy and wondering what to do with my thesis and myself... *ting!* this thought came across my mind.

I always think that i am an optimistic person. Telling myself to look at the positive side of a problem, a person or what so ever. But, i do not have the energy and +ve vibes to do it most of the time.

Here, some of the things that really can put a smile on me whenever the cloudy day appear.

    1. my Doggie bear, Giffe and dear jersey.

    2. There is a bakery in my Uni, that never fail to entertain me-- both with their pastries, coffee and of course the oldschool music that they played

    3. My Syrian Hamster, or named as Guinea. She is so cute with the innocent face & super flexible body. Not to forget a gymnast in the making :P

    4. Miss Berry the house cat! She's cuddly, cute, naughty and stupid sometime. How could me resist its cuteness??

....... and yes, simple things that give u the feeling of small joy and happiness.

    ::terowong gelap dan harapan::

    Tuesday, January 25, 2011
Kau pernah alami peristiwa gangguan elektrik atau black out? Lagi best kalau kena waktu malam-malam. Hah, cuba masa black out tu engkau kat tempat yang kau tak pernah pergi. Sumpah engkau memang tak tau kat mana pintu, kat mana tingkap. Terkurung kat unknown place, gelap gulita hitam pekat. Apa kau rasa? Takut kan, tak keruan... dan memang berusaha sedaya upaya nak keluar dari tempat tu. Rasanya kalau kau jumpa pemetik api, mesti perasaan kau masa tu macam kena tiket loteri ke jackpot ke yang nilai juta juta tu.

Itu cuma cerita black out baii.. Cuba bayangkan kalau blackout semalaman... Mau nya kau tak tidur satu malam gak. Cuba pergi cari cerita Count Dracula dulu-dulu punya movie..... takut giler seh.

Hah, kalau lah katakan senario gelap gulita tu tadi, kita bawa ke dalam terowong. Ala-ala terowong bawah tanah kat lebuhraya tu, tak pun imagi
ne sahaja terowong LRT lepas stesen Pasar Seni ke arah KLCC... Bayangkan kalau engkau berada kat dalam terowong yang panjang, seolah olah never ending tu. Gelap gelita sampai tak nampak jari sendiri, lepas tu suasana senyap saja. Panik melanda, kau lari tak tentu arah. Tujuannya hanya satu, nak mencari sumber cahaya walau sebesar jarum. Manusia rasa insecure tanpa cahaya, betul.

Terowong tu dah la gelap, kau pulak tak tau berapa panjang dan lebar nya. Lari lari lari.... tiba tiba terlari masuk air paras lutut.

Harapan tetap digenggam, to lose hope is to die. Bak lagu Taylor, two is better than one kan.

Pepatah Light at the end of the tunnel, tapi mungkin juga cahaya tu di tengah, siapa tahu?

Iya, sejuta harapan. Kalau berkecai, tinggal 999999 lagi.

    sudah sudah lah tu

    Sudah sudah lah tu
    wahai badan ku, jiwaku
    Letih dan mengantuk
    walhal apa kerja kau buat?

    Kau bangun celik mata
Minum kopi secawan, roti sekeping dua
    Mata terpana depan laptop
    Apa untung berFacebook, berTwitter?

    Sudah sudah la tu
    jangan bertangguh, jangan malas
    Log book dah panggil
    Journals dah seru

    Tak berguna kalau hanya sesalan
    tanpa tindakan ya tak
    Wahai hati, wahai minda
    Kuatkan semangat, kentalkan raga

    Sudah sudah lah tu....
    Merenung jauh tanpa isi
    Bagai orang gila
    Cakap dengan dinding.

    Aah.. sudah sudah la tu.
